Our server on the evening was Tori, and if she's any indication of the general service at this place, then I don't think it's possible to have a bad experience here. Everybody's got a mask, there's ample room to maneuver, hand sanitizer when we got there, and of course, the restrooms are fully stocked with good soap so cleanliness isn't a problem. Right away, I'll let you know that they're on top of the social distance policies. Spoiler alert: we'll DEFINITELY be back, so there's plenty of other times to get out of my comfort zone. While we didn't go nuts with our want of Caribbean and "outside the box" food, it was nice to at least have the option. It was 10 years to the day that I proposed so we wanted somewhere unique, and the Bahama Breeze reads that way. Marie and I are finding ourselves in Delaware more often now, and looking for new places to go. Not stuffy, but not in your face surf and sand. Marie commented that it reminded her a lot of the decor, service, and quality of our honeymoon in St. In fact, it's just the right mix of everything. It's either a bar atmosphere with cornhole being played outside, or it's an overpriced restaurant that thinks having Caribbean jerked chicken on the menu is good enough for the theme. In my experience, it's tough to have a classy beach-themed venue. Restaurants aren't what they used to be, but Bahama Breeze will help you remember the "good old days"! More I dunno folks, its been a tough couple of years, what with Covid and everything. It was cute! (I hate to use the word "cute", but appropriate here.) I did not get a beer (the drive) but it was hard to resist! Tori was our waitress, and did an outstanding job! Very prompt, courteous, checked in with us at least 4 times. ![]() Wow! The flavors were really different! (I wish I was one of those cosmopolitan guys who could say, "Similar to the last time I was in the islands." but it ain't so.) The food was really good! Huge wings, but well cooked! (How many times have you had large wings, still raw in the middle?) Lots of different dipping sauces-every one a real experience! My wife had a mixed drink (her once a year, I kid you not) It was large, multi colored and had a little shot glass hanging on the side. We had jerk chicken wings, beef empanadas, and two types of shrimp. But the half-price appetizers were tempting. We were really there for a snack, before the rigors of the drive back to PA. (Occupancy was probably 50%+) Very comfortable booth. We were there during "happy hour" (4-6) on a Friday afternoon. $50 in gas and depreciation to drive to Delaware to save the 6% sales tax!) So recently we returned again to this mall, but this time we stopped at Bahama Breeze for the first time. ![]() Moreįolks, if you have read my previous reviews, you know we have a small farm in south central PA, and you know that my beloved wife (nicknamed FRUGAL, don't tell her I said this, please!) loves to get a bargain. Don't go to Bahama Breeze as your car and property is not safe around the buiding. No nice food is worth $2k of car repair and damage to your insurance. ![]() We plan to bring this to the police but thought to share this so others can beware. Definitely doesnt seem like this location cares about the safety of their customers as and their customers' properties. Also, some of the staff found if funny that we had come to report the incidence which is simply appauling. Not even to place more security outside of their building. We went this evening to speak with the Manager (Rob) who indicated this had been happening and there is nothing they have been able to do. To our dismay, the catalytic converter and 02n sensor had been cut off from underneath the car. We didnt know what was happening until we got to the repair shop this morning and the car was jacked up. dinner, started the car, we heard very loud noise representing absence of car silencer. To our disgust, when we got back to our car after the. We came to dinner at this location yesterday around 6.40pm and parked our car (Mitsubishi Outlander) to the side of the building close to the entrance. Guys, beware of dinning at this restaurant. ![]() Restaurants for Special Occasions in Newark.Mexican Restaurants for Families in Newark.Hotels near (PHL) Philadelphia Intl Airport.Hotels near The Pencader Heritage Museum.Hotels near Huge Doctor's Bag With Stethescope.Hotels near White Clay Creek State Park.InterContinental (IHG) Hotels in Newark.
